Bacon Condoms a Reality? REJOICE!

LOS ANGELES—Everyone loves bacon, right? And everyone loves sex, right? J & D Foods, the makers of Bacon Salt and Baconnaise, evidently think so. Just a year after introducing Bacon Lube to the market, the company has now launched Bacon Condoms.

“FACT—Each year 5 billion condoms are sold worldwide, 450 million in the U.S. alone and exactly zero look, feel or taste like Bacon—until now,” the company’s website reads.

In addition to tasting like bacon (the condoms are coated with the company’s water-based bacon lube), they also look like bacon. (We can’t make this shit up.)

Even the packaging has the J & D Foods logo on one side, and a strip of bacon on the other.

The condoms are currently out of stock on the company’s website, but they have garnered plenty of mainstream press in recent weeks, with everyone from the New York Daily News to the Huffington Post to Yahoo! News writing about the pork-themed prophylactics.

The company’s website says the condoms are proudly made in America of the highest quality latex that has been “rigorously tested to help ensure reliability and the utmost safety for when you’re makin’ Bacon.”

Frankly, we can’t think of many people who wouldn’t want to test these bad boys out, even vegetarians. (No actual meat products are used in the lube.) And we’re thrilled they have mainstream America talking about condoms.

So get out there! Wrap your hog in some hog meat! Pack your pork in some pork! Cover your meatstick with some meat! It’s mmm-mmm good!
