MIAMI—In anticipation of a glamorous launch next year, Baci Lingerie has released an extravagant video displaying highlights from the upcoming lingerie collection, which will receive its official world premiere in April.
During the photo shoot for a lavish catalogue, internationally renowned fashion models slipped into the seductive apparel of the new brand, but a still camera was not the only thing focused on them. Baci’s creators had the forethought to not only photograph each of the 500 styles, but also to shoot videos to be released with the photos. Each of Baci’s 500-piece collection was shot so that individual styles had their own setting with front and back pictures and in video format to provide customers with an intimate, detailed view.
A total of 1,000 pictures and 500 videos will debut with this first collection.
Managed by a globally acclaimed Italian production team, the 1.6 million Euro ($2.4 million) shoot was held throughout the four most extravagant castles in southern Germany and France.
The first of many shoots took place in the magnificent and ancient castle of Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg, which added an extra bit of richness to the texture. The castle, which was built in 1704 and displays 452 rooms in 18 buildings, was closed for two weeks from the public while the production team rented out the entire castle for their shoot. The lavish production boasted an atmosphere of “electricity and excitement,” according to Emilio Brevetti, chief designer of the production team.
Brevetti said the photo shoot has been “the craziest and most grandiose” he has ever seen. The videos and photos are slated for future print and online use. Furthermore, Baci will present the upcoming line in a never-before-seen 500-page hardcover catalogue that will have the lingerie industry talking. Baci is rumored to be releasing additional photos of the glamorous photo shoot in the upcoming days.
Baci Lingerie will debut at the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas in April 2010. Internetmarketing-Miami LLC, holder of the exclusive rights, will begin selecting worldwide distribution partners in January and are open to offers.
