Baci Lingerie Hits the Ground Running at ILS

LAS VEGAS—Internetmarketing-Miami LLC launched its newest venture, Baci Lingerie, with plenty of flair at the International Lingerie Show at the Rio in Las Vegas.

While the initial collection—which includes 500 pieces, a major undertaking for any new company—officially launched this week, Internetmarketing-Miami LLC spent months branding the name by sponsoring major trade shows in recent months, including AVN’s Adult Entertainment Expo in January in Las Vegas.

But the official debut included a large, opulent booth on the main show floor, as well as large TV screens outside the entrances showcasing the pieces during a major photo shoot, and special gifts for each person who entered ILS.

“It’s been really amazing,” said Robert Rosen, vice president of Baci Lingerie. “We’ve been swamped with people who want to check out the brand and see what’s going on. There’s been a buzz during the entire show so far of people coming by and checking us out.”

Baci (pronounced bah-chee) is the Italian word for “kiss,” and a type of philosophy for the company, Rosen said. The idea behind each of the pieces in the initial line is that they should be beautiful and sensual, because “what could be more beautiful than receiving a kiss from the one true beauty in your life?”

Additionally, the line focuses on quality at a fair price; no piece in the initial collection is priced higher than $6.
“The packaging for each piece is rich and beautiful,” Rosen noted, pointing out that images from the massive photo shoot were used on the boxes. “And it just further enhances the message that our collection is about affordable luxury.”

And to further prove that Baci Lingerie is ambitious if nothing else, the company also launched a 250-piece eyelash sub-collection during ILS.

Rosen noted that the reusable eyelashes are priced from 89 cents to $1.59 wholesale, and compete with higher-end collections found in many mainstream department stores that sell for as much as $40 or $50.

“Everything about this show and this launch has met and exceeded our expectations,” Rosen said. “We knew our collection was beautiful and that it was going to be a hit, but it’s great seeing that so many people agree with us.”
