LOS ANGELES—The ANME Founders have decided to postpone the ANME Show, which was originally scheduled to take place July 13-15, at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport in Burbank.
In a press release Friday, the ANME Founders indicated they had been holding out hope to produce another show, "however, after monitoring the information on Covid-19 in California and around the world, made the difficult decision."
Their announcement continued, "While this news is incredibly disappointing for all of us, the health and safety of everyone involved is our top priority."
"We are planning to combine both the July 2020 and the January 2021 shows into one spectacular event," said Val Jones, show coordinator for ANME.
ANME's upcoming January show will also feature the annual Storerotica Awards produced by industry trade publication, Storerotica (SE) Magazine.
"Given what we're all facing during this pandemic, it only feels appropriate to stand in solidarity with the Founders and plan on delivering a wonderful Storerotica Awards Show in January," said Kristofer Kay, marketing and PR director for Storerotica. "We will continue to cover the best in adult retail inside SE Magazine and look forward to honoring our friends at the beginning of the new year."
The Founders wish to extend their gratitude to all of the industry professionals who were planning on coming in July and look forward to seeing everyone soon.
