LAS VEGAS—As fans poured into the hall hosting the 2011 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, buyers and retailers were milling among the booths at the AVN Novelty Expo, looking for the next big thing to stock on their shelves.
13 Glass made its debut with wholesale glass pieces, including pipes, as well as consumables and incense.
“About 75 to 80 percent of all our glass we produce ourselves,” said Wenona J. Dekorsey, director of marketing. “And we have themes in American, Indian, Mexican … just about any styles you would want.”
Elliot Schwartz of Nasstoys noted that his company’s booth—which was displaying several products, including the relatively new and extremely popular Wisper Collection line—was busy with visitors.
“We are getting a lot of buyers and suppliers and it’s been a great show for us,” he said.
Jimmyjane officials were on hand to unveil the form 4, the latest in their Pleasure to the People series of personal massagers.
“The form 4 has five speeds and four modes and is the most powerful vibrator available for its size,” explained Alice Alioto, director of marketing and sales. “Its design allows for internal or external stimulation, making it the first internal vibrator released in the Pleasure to the People series.”
Also new to the market is the Lotus Revolution, a device that simulates the feeling of oral sex for women. The handle of the piece is designed to be held sideways, while a wheel spins silicone petals around for stimulation.
“You just push and hold to go, and then click through the four speeds,” said Tracie Fletcher, director of research.
She added that the wheels are removable for easy cleaning, and to interchange different wheel styles.
Also debuting two new lines was XMyBox. The company showcased its Fun Zone line—composed of items designed specifically for newer users of adult novelties and toys—and the Ultra Zone line, for the more discerning users.
“We’ve gotten so many compliments, on everything from our products to our booth setup,” said Crystel Rivera.
ANE continues through Saturday.
