ANE Rolls Into Day 2 With New, Returning Exhibitors

LAS VEGAS—The second day of the January edition of the AVN Novelty Expo kicked off Thursday with buyers and more touching base with exhibitors new and old on the show floor.

And each of those exhibitors had something new to showcase.

Evolved Novelties and Zero Tolerance Toys had plenty of fresh stock in their displays, including new items in the Love Candy by Kendra line. The first vibrators in the line are now available and shipping. The Prevail, which is decorated with a pink ribbon in the design, sees some of the proceeds donated to breast cancer research, while the Renew is the line’s rechargeable and submersible vibrator, explained Lucy Vonne, sales director for Evolved and ZT Toys.

She noted that under the company’s licensing agreement with Adam & Eve Toys, they are releasing Dick Plumper, while under the Ouch! And Shots lines there are a number of new entry-level BDSM items and remote controlled vibes.

“It’s all about the remotes this year,” Vonne said. “We have small eggs, medium, large, deluxe, glitter. Everything is about the remotes.”

Some returning exhibitors included Elator, which started as a custom-made device to help with erectile dysfunction that is now available in a variety of sizes; Bootiful, makers of a non-surgical cream formulated as an alternative to buttock augmentation procedures; Biker Lube, a company that debuted at the September ANE show and in addition to their initial lubricant line unveiled a fun line of floggers themed around the biker culture; and Billy Boy Condoms, a company that is bringing one of the top condom lines designed in Germany to the adult market.

SexiChairs, another new exhibitor at ANE, displayed their uniquely designed chairs of steel and fiberglass. The seat, with names like Toreador, look like pieces of modern art and help couples obtain a variety of sexual positions without undue stress on their bodies.

“The quality of these chairs is unbelievable,” said Melanie Black, a company rep. “The steel is welded through, it’s not surface welding. And paint is the same that they use on Porsches.”

Also new to the show are Perfect Fit Brand, which designs and manufactures products specifically for men, such as extender sleeves and cock rings; Barnett Interntional Corp., which showcased a new line of lubricants; First Light Adult Toys, a manufacturer of a variety of vibrators and other sex toys in fun shapes like dinosaurs and elephants; Sexee, a website that provides porn videos; Fink Performance Coffee, which carries coffees with enhancements in it; Q Gifts, which offers unique items such as dairy creamers and other everyday items shaped like boobs and penises; Hott Chocolates, with gourmet chocolate items infused with aphrodisiacs; InJoyUs, which manufactures a strapless strap on that has a G-spot stimulator on one end for women and interchangeable attachments to satisfy their partners; and Odeco, another manufacturer of a variety of sex toys.

Also among the return visitors to ANE were Luvena Prebiotics; Eldorado, one of the biggest distributors of adult products in the country; Creamright Products, which carries canisters and other delivery methods for whipped cream; Nature Lovin’ Lubricants, which debuted their Naturally Yours line of lubricants, which are organic and available in unique flavors; Fukuoko, the company that makes vibrating gloves and finger vibrators; and Fleshlight, which announced the release of a new white case for their popular Flight Fleshlight, which debuted at last year’s ANE show, and touted the Shower Mount, which lets users attach their Fleshlight in the shower hands free.

Icon Brands also set up in Artist Hall, one of the main rooms for ANE exhibitors, to show buyers new products in many of their lines. Among the new items are the 4 Head and 5 Head Anal Beads, which have penis heads similar to the Helmet Head line of anal plugs as the beads. Another new item are the Code Bands, which a company rep said are based on the “hankie code.”

“They can be worn on the wrist or used as a cock ring, and they come in a variety of colors,” he said. The leather bands are brightly colored and have various snaps to secure them in place at various sizes.

The Fashionistas line also saw several additions, including anal plugs with ostrich feathers and nipple suckers decorated with the same design motif as other products in the line. A major coup for the company, the rep said, is the introduction of the Rabbit Trois, a rabbit-style vibe with 10 patterns and five speeds for each pattern, making it the first 50-function rabbit on the market.

Pjur rounded out the exhibitors in the Artist Hall, with Richard Harris showing off the new Rock Solid, which are king-sized stretch-to-fit cock rings.

“They have been available for years, but this is the first time we have branded with them,” he said.

Also showcased in the booth were Gold Rush, an exclusive line from Palm One of nail polish removers, and the Universal Shooter, which has a softer tip and hose and a syringe-style delivery method.

“It’s universal because it can also be used as a douche as well, and even during water sports,” he said.
