LAS VEGAS—The 2019 AVN Novelty Expo, presented by Satisfyer and Satisfyer Men, closed its three-day run yesterday, but not before attendees, buyers and more got to enjoy a wide range of new and returning exhibitors.

In the B2B show area of Artist Hall in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas were international companies, including Shenzhen UV-LED Optical Technology, which showcased its cleaning units that use UV lights to clean and sterilize all types of sex toys. The units come in a wide variety of sizes, from bigger-than-a-breadbasket to a handheld wand (the lineup is pictured below).

Back for a second time was Tama Toys, a company that creates different types of pillows emblazoned with images of anime women and that house various types of strokers for a unique sexual experience. The pillows also come in various sizes, and some have the genital areas in mosaic, to cater to the Japanese market, which prohibits graphic images. Kosmo Lupo GmBH showcased realistic-looking, near-life-size, posable love dolls, while another doll manufacturer, Kingsonic Trading, focused on models with super-sized breasts. Bellavo Trading, another maker of lifelike love dolls, also had a display of its Luxuria line of vibrators that offer many advanced functions, including a rabbit-style vibrator with thrusting action on the shaft and spinning motion on the clitoral stimulator.

Some companies, such as 3T Robotic Company Ltd. and Ultimate Fantasy Dolls, took to the fan side of the show, exhibiting their range of posable love dolls directly to fans at the concurrent AVN Adult Entertainment Expo.

Brand-new exhibitor LubeLights was a hit with attendees. The husband-and-wife team of Aaron and Erin Staeben showcased lube containers that give “an extra spark in the dark” because the caps are equipped with an LED light and can be popped open to provide instant illumination. Aaron explained that they have a utility patent for the idea and intend to employ it in a variety of ways beyond the current product, which is designed to make it easier to apply lube in the dark. Other ideas include a Camp Light, which can be used by recreational campers, and a water bottle aimed at joggers who run after dark.

Mister Hard Head was another first-time exhibitor on the B2B floor, showcasing four varieties of condoms with fun names and creative packaging, all showcased in well-designed displays that can be standing or affixed to slatwall. And there's a point-of-sale countertop display as well. The varieties include Big Heads (for larger penises) and Little Prick, and all include the silhouette of the Mister Hard Head logo.

And Sense Max brought a touch of VR adult entertainment onto the show floor with interactive devices that operate in sync with VR videos, aimed at male consumers. And they also showcased a vibrator for women with warming capabilities.

Ardour Crafts exhibited for the first time at the AVN Novelty Expo. Ardour Crafts International is a manufacturer and supplier of quality hand-made leather products. The company began small in 1990 and later entered into the international market. Now Ardour Crafts has worldwide warehouses and provides free shipping options to its clients.

Buyers in search of accessories, lingerie and apparel had other booths to peruse at the show, including UK-based Rouge Garments and new exhibitor Oh Yeah Trade Co., which stood out by also offering an array of plus-size lingerie. Kix'ies offered up an attractive array of hosiery, including its signature thigh-highs. Colette & Sebastian showcased a lingerie brand that is designed to appeal to the “modern day marvel of a woman,” both feminine and empowering. Colette & Sebastian was launched to share passion and uniquely inspired creations with the world. Each collection has created plays on every woman’s innate desires: to be bold, alluring, beautiful, inspiring, powerful: the ultimate muse.

In addition to new companies, there were several veterans in the pleasure product industry on the show floor as well. Shipper's Advocate was back to offer information on its shipping services. Steel toy creator Greg DeLong and his crew showed off njoy's beloved wands and plugs, and Wet International (pictured at the top of page) had a big booth showcasing just some of its multifarious lubricant formulas. Company founder Michael Trigg attended the opening AVN Hall of Fame cocktail party right before the show; he will be inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame at this year's AVN Awards Show.

Another big manufacturer was Evolved Novelties, which offered a veritable amusement park of new products, including the Thick n Thrust, Rockin G and Fingerific. The Tilt a Whirl has to be seen in action to truly understand; its textured shaft rotates while the clitoral stimulator works a separate kind of magic. And the Double Date is for use by couples; the remote that operates the wearable vibe is itself a vibrating device.

Rounding out this year’s freshmen exhibitors were a variety of other newcomers. Hot Flowers USA offered ingestible supplements and topical products, all of which are designed to help increase sexual performance and stamina. Never Let You Down and Up 24-7 had a wide range of dietary supplements for enhanced libido and better sexual performance. EXS Spray was a standout—an oral spray that is all-herbal and billed as a "unisex product designed for men and women." Royal Botanical showed new formulas for general wellness, including pain relief, made from CBD oil. And there was also Wellness Group LLC, makers of jewelry and other accessories.
