LAS VEGAS—The first fall edition of the Altitude Intimates Show ended its two-day run Wednesday at the Paris Hotel and Casino.
Primarily a lingerie show, organizers this time created a “Sexy Studio” area for pleasure product manufacturers and distributors. Eldorado Trading Company was on hand to showcase the ranges that are unique to the distributor, including Easy Toys, GigaLuv and Steamy Shades, which will begin shipping in a few weeks. The collection features BDSM items and kits that have a boutique feel to them. Eye masks and restraints have a lacy look, and that look carries through to the packaging as well.
In the Entrenue booth, reps showcased new items from various manufacturers, including a new Orange Creamsicle flavor of lickable body butter from As You Like It, Noje wand massagers from Blush Novelties, and the Sona and Sona Cruise from LELO. The Sona is LELO’s entry into the world of products that pulsate and use air pressure as opposed to vibration for clitoral stimulation.
Also drawing attention from buyers in the Entrenue booth was the Cowgirl, a ride-on vibrator that has an attachment that can be used for vaginal penetration that not only offers extremely intense vibrations, but also rotates for more stimulation.
Williams Trading Co. reps were on hand in their booth to showcase the Cloud 9 collection. Though Cloud 9 has been around for roughly 20 years, it’s only been in the past few years that the line has been refined and expanded, said Rich Pyne, sales manager.
“We now have 12 categories of entry-level products at a reasonable price, and many items within those categories offer extra value,” he said.
Marketing Manager Scott D. pointed out that items in the new Health & Wellness category feature non-explicit, gender-neutral packaging. Two new wands in the range can be used with 10 different tips—six TPR and four silicone—and there are kit version of the wands that include two tips.
The company also had on display its new F Machine Trembler, an automated stroker that stimulates the penis in three areas, and can be used with an erect or flaccid penis.
A new exhibitor was Zalo, an international brand that is now reaching out to the Canadian and American markets. Zalo is comprised of three collections, each of which has four models, and each of those is available in three colors.
With eight patterns of vibration, the rechargeable Zalo massagers are available in the Versailles, Lolita and Sweet Magic collections. Some of the massagers come with a remote control, and all are compatible with the Zalo app, which is available through the Apple and Android stores. The app allows the pieces to respond to music stores on a smartphone, or they can be personalized with a created pattern. It also offers “scenes,” such as “Bar,” which boasts patterns that are similar to ambient noises in said scenes.
All Zalo items come with a one-year warranty, with packaging that evokes romantic fairy tales and scenes inspired by Hebrew mythology.
Several other brands and distributors were in attendance showcasing their latest products, including Paradise Marketing, Nasstoys, Holiday Products, Adventure Industries, The Rabbit Company, Uberlube, Sportsheets and Impulse Novelties.
