Gracie Obadele of Holiday Products Passes From Cancer

LOS ANGELES—Gracie Obadele succumbed to cancer on Saturday, June 27, 2020. According to those who knew and worked with her during her 22-year career in the pleasure product industry, she was an inspiration both before and during her long battle.

The 48-year-old Senior Account Manager for Holiday Products had a motto that she lived and died by: “Be the best you you know how to be and stay positive.” That philosophy gave her and those around her hope and explains her ability to effortlessly connect with customers, coworkers and manufacturer representatives.

Holiday Products’ president Ken Sahn said of Obadele's passing, “Gracie did not want to burden the industry with her issues. Gracie fought hard and worked to the very end. Her loveliness and character, along with the ability to work at home, helped camouflage just how serious everything had become.”

A Detroit Lions fan to the end, the 10-year Holiday Products veteran has earned high praise for the quality of both her work and character, with Sales and Operations Manager Veronica Garcia saying, “We know we speak for everyone that knew her and loved her just how much she will be missed. ‘Grace’ was the perfect name for this most gentle, beautiful soul. We at Holiday and WTFN are at a total loss.”

Life-long friend and Senior Account Manager Angela Blackmon agreed, adding, “I’m not sure what life will be like without Gracie. 37 years is a long time to call someone friend. We were more than that. We are family.”

The news was released online by Holiday Products via Facebook and Instagram. No memorial service has yet been announced.
