PALM BEACH, Fla.—A South Florida-based company is making it easier to clean up post messy sex with their after-sex wipes.
The brainchild of a former professional fighter, Aftercourse Wipes use a combination of tea tree oil—a natural astringent and antibacterial agent that is also known for its antimicrobial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties—and aloe vera and vitamin E to nourish skin, while also helping to gently but effectively clean it.
“When you are a fighter, one of the biggest issues is skin infections,” explained Michael Hyman, Aftercourse Wipes’ president and CEO. “Tea tree oil is great for that, but the key is to get the right combination of tea tree oil so there is no burning, and combine it with the aloe and vitamin E for the best results.”
Aftercourse entered the adult market a little more than a year ago, but has already found a solid fanbase: the company has sold more than 250,000 wipes in its first year, Hyman said.
The wipes are designed to clean as well as soothe sensitive skin, and they are safe for use by men and women, since they are pH-friendly. They are also better than a traditional baby wipe since they utilize essential oils—including tea tree and lemongrass—not found in baby wipes, the company claims. The use of glyercin in the wipes also helps, since the ingredient—which is commonly used in antibacterial soaps—helps to remove particles and scents from the skin.
Aftercourse Wipes are sold in foil packs of two separate wipes (one for each partner) for $2.99, in foil packs of 10 for $24.99, in large packs of 69 wipes for $29.99 or in a Sex Party collection of five large packs and 20 individuals for $99.99.
