HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - XR Wholesale began offering drop-shipment for its wholesale websites and customers in February, and SexToy.com is the newest customer to offer the wholesaler's entire product catalog via drop-shipment.
"Rather than adding products one by one, we've developed systems so that we can upload products by the hundreds or even thousands," SexToy.com owner Dave Levine told AVN Novelty Business. "We're also making other changes to our site, so it's much easier to handle multiple vendors. XR has a great selection of original products that I know sell well, and we've had success with a few of their products in the past, so now that we're able to, we want to sell all of their products."
XR Wholesale President Ari Suss told ANB other customers also have seen increases in business after expanding their product lines with XR's "unique items."
"Our drop-shipping program allows websites to increase their line of fetish sex toys to their customer base without holding inventory or shipping the product," he said. "When an order is drop-shipped, there is just a packing list in the box, allowing retailers to have a seamless transaction and create the impression that they are the shipper."
Suss said it took a lot of hard work to create a streamlined process for drop-shipping.
"After months of working to create an XML feed, there are now over 144 XR Wholesale items on SexToy.com, and by the end of the year, we expect the number to reach 1,000," he added. "We're very proud to start drop-shipping for SexToy.com."
