HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Employees at NicheShops.com are gaming through their lunch hours on the company's new Wii entertainment system.
"This is a great opportunity for our employees to interact with other departments," said Ari Suss, president of XRWholesale. "After implementing the entertainment system, we found that it has helped employees build strong work teams and relationships."
Brandi, a customer service representative at XR, said the Wii has "turned co-workers into friends."
"No one wants to leave the office at lunch hour," she said. "It certainly has improved our overall attendance. I love coming to work."
Currently, the most popular game is Guitar Hero, followed by Wii Golf and Tennis.
