HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - XR LLC has entered the 100 percent platinum-silicone-toy market with its Black Silicone Butt Plugs, which already have become a "proven seller" at eXtremeRestraints.com, according to owner Ari Suss.
"The design is excellent," he said. "The long, narrow neck makes wearing the butt plug comfortable for long-term use."
The suggested retail prices range from $20 to $33, depending on the size of the plug. Suss said comparative silicone plugs retail for $10 to $15 more. He said XR decided not to brand the butt plugs "to allow other retail sites to market them how they see fit."
"This is an excellent line for premium-sex-toy shoppers," he said.
Suss said the Black Silicone Butt Plugs were created to give a boost to a pre-existing product.
"We wanted to make our best-selling Anal Trainer Kit better," he said. "Currently, the Anal Trainer Kit is made of latex. We wanted to make a premium, classic butt plug, so we invested [a lot of money] into converting them."
XR started by producing 1,000 Black Silicone Butt Plugs, a number intended to "help us reach the economies of scale needed for these price points," Suss said.
He said a Fox Tail and Bunny butt plug are in development.
