HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Web-based fetish retailer and wholesaler XR LLC has expanded its marketing power with the addition of two new employees: Sales Account Executive Jonathan Kenner and Web Marketing Associate Justine Chase.
Kenner, who has eight years of sales experience, will focus on "identifying print and online ad opportunities outside of our affiliate program," XR President Ari Suss said.
"I hope to contribute by identifying and executing a wealth of new and fresh opportunities to propel XR to a new level," Kenner said. "I believe my sales and marketing experience with business-to-business sales - as well as my experience with marketing to the private sector - is a great fit for what XR is looking to achieve."
XR has been expanding its online reach by updating its flagship site, eXtreme Restraints, and launching niche retail sites like Healthy and Active, BoyzShop and Jenna's Love Shop. BoyzShop and Jenna's Love Shop have affiliate programs through XR's Niche Shops. XR also operates custom stores for Kink and Fetish Nation, and the online store for mega-star Jenna Jameson.
To help promote this growing roster of sites, Chase joined XR's marketing team. In her new position, she will write articles about XR's product lines and help with photography.
"I have always been inquisitive about sexuality and alternative lifestyles," Chase told AVN, adding that she's done a lot of research about sexuality. "I like to laugh and have fun and also help others to be comfortable in situations that are new to them."
Chase said she's looking forward to creating marketing materials that are fresh and fun to read. "I want to provide XR customers with good information regarding product choices and ideas to make those products more enjoyable," she said.
Suss said Chase's background in marketing, writing and website building makes her a perfect fit for XR. "In time, I feel she will become our in-house sex-toy expert," Suss said.
