LAS VEGAS—For the first time in the history of the "O" Awards, all registered attendees for the AVN Novelty Expo will have a chance to help determine the winners in five categories.
Voting is now open for registered attendees of ANE in the categories of Outstanding Product for Women, Outstanding Product for Men, Outstanding Powered Product, Outstanding Non-Powered Product and Outstanding Luxury Product.
Votes cast by attendees will account for 25 percent of the final tally. All attendees will receive an email this week with instructions on how to cast their ballots.
"We opened a few categories for voting to attendees at last summer's ANE show, and it was such a success that we decided to go even bigger with the process this year," said Sherri L. Shaulis, senior editor of pleasure products for AVN.
Voting on the categories will close Thursday, Aug. 23, and winners will be announced during the "O" Awards ceremony on Sept. 11 during the AVN Novelty Expo, Sept. 10-12 at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The "O" Awards, which are sponsored this year by California Exotic Novelties and Jopen, will see 16 trophies given away in a number of categories designed to recognize the best of the best in the pleasure products industry, including design, innovation and marketing.
