SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - Universal Distributor has added industry veteran Ron Wasserman, formerly of Gourmet Video and Glowing Icon, to its sales staff.
The hire reunites Wasserman and company President Al Robles, who previously worked together for almost 20 years.
"I am extremely excited working with Al Robles and Universal Distributor," Wasserman said. "His last novelty company and my video company used to be sister companies. I came out of retirement after four years to work with him and learn more about the novelty business from the best."
Robles said having Wasserman on board "is like having family back."
"We've traveled many paths together," he said, "and it is fortunate to have a person I can count on for all of Universal's future endeavors."
Wasserman's main task will be to put together a larger sales team from the people he will bring to the table.
"Moving into a 32,000-square-foot warehouse is just the beginning of what we hope will be a wide expanse into all facets of the adult industry," Robles said, "and Ron is a perfect fit for our future plans."
