Tyler Hope Sets Breast-Cancer Campaign

BURBANK, Calif. - Adult-novelty manufacturer Tyler Hope has announced a campaign designed to help radio stations raise funds for breast-cancer charities in observation of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"Tyler Hope celebrates the self-confident, independent woman and recognizes the value of her health and well-being," CEO Kirk Salvador said. "These are our greatest priorities, and we at Tyler Hope are committed to giving back to the community."

The company will donate 10 plush bears and massage-oil candles to 10 radio stations, which will hold raffles for the items as part of their ongoing charity efforts. Each Tyler Hope bear has an unseen pocket that snaps shut to hide "all the secrets that a woman would like to keep discreetly out of sight," Salvador said.

Additional bears, each with a candle, will be sold at a wholesale price of $35 plus shipping, allowing radio stations to work with lingerie and novelty stores to develop dollar-for-dollar charity programs. For each bear and candle a radio station sells to a store, Tyler Hope will provide the station a free bear for charitable promotion purposes. Tyler Hope will provide a maximum of 25 free bears per station. Each bear and candle usually retails for $89.95.

Funds raised through radio-station promotions must be donated to local or national breast-cancer charities by the end of November.

Additionally, Tyler Hope will donate 5 percent of all October sales through its website to breast-cancer charities designated by participating radio stations; each customer must indicate which radio station informed him or her about the promotion.

Radio stations interested in participating in the campaign must contact Kirk Salvador at [email protected] by Oct. 12. Stations selected for the campaign will be notified by Oct. 15, and bears will be then shipped Oct. 16.
