Topco’s Holiday Stops Traffic

CHATSWORTH, Calif. Topco Sales celebrated Halloween on Friday with its annual costume contest. Employees dressed in disguises assembled at the corner of De Soto and Plummer streets outside the company's headquarters in the San Fernando Valley.

Desiree Duffie, director of marketing and public relations, said Topco's display even managed to stop traffic. With nearly thirty members of the staff clad in costumes ranging from Marilyn Monroe to professional poker player to scarecrow, it's no Halloween mystery why passersby would slow down for a closer look.
