CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Adult novelty manufacturer Topco Sales has been awarded a 2007 Best of the Best Sex Products Award from the "Sex is Fun" podcast radio show for the company's Climax Bursts Anal Lubricant. The anal lubricant is just one of five new lubricants in the Climax Bursts line-which features lubes enhanced with beads of vitamin E that burst on contact.

Each episode features a discussion of a different topic to maximize sexual enjoyment while avoiding the dangers of sex.
On the June 4 "Sex is Fun" broadcast, Topco's Climax Bursts Anal Lubricant was reviewed by sexuality guru and show host Kidder Kaper, who said of the product, "It works really well and it is the most comfortable lubricant I've ever used for butt play." Kaper also commented on the vitamin E beads in the lubricant, stating, "I don't know what's in these things - but whatever it is, I like it!"
Tim Crawford, Topco's technical director of drugs and cosmetics, shared what went into the creation of the vitamin-enhanced lubricants. "We spent almost two years in development, perfecting the bead composition and the vehicle to carry the beads," he explained. "It was important to have a bead that would break and dissolve upon application of pressure so that there wouldn't be exfoliating action in a delicate area. In other words, it is soft and gentle."
Climax Bursts are available in five varieties, including Warming, Cooling, Aphrodisiac-Enhanced, Anal, and Anti-Bacterial Toy Cleaner versions. Crawford commented that vitamin E-enhanced lubricants moisturize and are "good to replenish the skin in those sensitive areas".
The entire line of Climax Bursts lubricants also features a no-mess dispenser Topco developed in response to consumer feedback, according to Marketing Manager Desiree Duffie. Of the lubricant's packaging, she told ANB magazine, "Let's face it, there are pretty specific areas that you want a lube to reach, so we wanted to make it easier to use, because no one wants to be fumbling with dripping, squirting lube as things start to get hot and heavy."
