CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Leading manufacturer Topco Sales has launched an interactive online community intended to bridge the information gap between sex toy manufacturers, consumers, and everyone in between, announced Desiree Duffie, director of marketing and public relations for Topco Sales.
"The goal of the Topco Sales Community is to connect with people who have questions and want to learn more," said Scott Tucker, CEO of Topco Sales. "There seems to be a gap between those who make the toys and those who buy the toys. We want to educate people."
The blog team will moderate a forum designed to encourage questions about sex toys, personal lubricants, the inner workings of a sex toy manufacturing company, and more, Duffie said.
Topco bloggers will include Dr. Tim, the resident sex toy material and personal lubricant expert; Ali, who will offer a first-person review of Topco's toys as well as a candid look at life inside the dildo factory; Justina will manage an eco-friendly sex blog; Autumn O'Bryan will offer a sneak peak on being the brains and the brawn behind Topco's toys; Tera the account manager will bring her toy knowledge in one blog and Duffie will blog on sex toy promotions, contests, and events to round out the group of six.
There is also FAQ section where visitors can learn more about sex toy materials, Duffie noted.
"We noticed a lot of misinformation about sex toy materials on the internet, the FAQ page addresses many of those questions and concerns. It was this page that actually inspired the creation of the Topco Sales Community. We wanted to make sure that people looking for the truth about sex toys had a legitimate source," Duffie said.
