LOS ANGELES - New manufacturer on the block, ToiBocks is ready to ship their secret storage box, which has already secured its place in high-end retailers and on a number of websites. The company's second discreet storage product, the ToiTissue, will be ready to ship on Sept. 15.
"It's going really well. We're getting into a lot of high-end stores: The Pleasure Chest, Good Vibrations, the Stockroom is supposed to order from us this week. We have a deal with Sugar DVD. They're carrying us on their website, and we're on two other websites, not counting the stores we're going into," Dawn Tulman, president of ToiBocks told AVN Novelty Business.
Additional retail outlets include EdenFantasys.com, Boudoir Essentials, and Chicago's Early To Bed.
By all signs, the rest of 2008 is "going to be crazy," she added.
However, keeping to her oath not to reveal the secret locking mechanism of the product to the public, Tulman has decided to add a video link to ToiBocks.com exclusively for vendors to see what's so special about the product.
"Without seeing how a ToiBocks functions, some are hesitant to pick it up. It's hard to see that you can fit 20 DVDs or four toys in there. We're putting a vendor video link on our website, so vendors can see exactly how it works. It will be up by Monday [Sept. 1]," she said.
The to-be-released ToiTissue "already has a lot sold based on the prototype," Tulman said, crediting the some of the success to the company's experience at the AVN Novelty Expo. "ANE was an amazing, ground-breaking show for us. It was the best decision we ever made."
At the expo, the company's reps spoke with Westridge Laboratories, and they are currently discussing including a sample of the other manufacturer's lubrication products in ToiBocks's third, yet-unannounced, product. "But maybe you can guess what it'll be," Tulman concluded cheekily.
