CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Skin-care product manufacturer Earthly Body has released its line of three-in-one edible candles.
Each aroma candle, which comes in a heart-shaped tin, melts into a warm massage oil and moisturizer. Earthly Body publicist Michael Mette predicted that the candles will be a hit for Valentine's Day.
"You can use the provided spoon or pour the warm massage oil directly from tin to skin," he told AVN Novelty Business. "The oil is smooth and penetrates the skin slowly, leaving you and your Valentine deeply moisturized."
Among the candles' fragrance and flavor options are the new Edible Chocolate and Chocolate Raspberry, which are perfect for Valentine's Day, according to Director of Product Promotions Jeff Cazanov.
"If there's anything more Valentines Day than heart shapes, warm candles and massage oils, it's chocolate," he said.
The candles also are available in original flavors such as Skinny Dip, Naked in the Woods, Edible Cherry, Edible Strawberry and Edible Watermelon.
The three-in-one candles are 100 percent natural, made with soy, hemp, avocado and Vitamin E oils. Mette said the soy base gives the candles a "30-35 percent longer and cleaner burn time, so you and your sweetheart can enjoy Earthly Body candles longer than traditional paraffin candles."
