ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Water Club, the luxury adult only hotel of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, says their "Passion Kits" that feature intimate products, have been a big hit since the casino opened its doors in June.
Drew Schlesinger, vice president and general manager of the hotel, said they have sold more than 1,500 of the in-room passion kits at almost $19 a set.
"I actually had one woman get upset because there was only one kit in her room," Schlesinger in a report. "I didn't ask why."
The convenient kits are placed in the hotel mini bars next to other room necessities and contain lube, condoms, massage oils, sex scratchers, and mints. "If you do it right, everyone is a winner," Schlesinger said.
Schlesinger said that those who do not use the kit and get billed receive a refund upon request. A light sensor gives the client 60 seconds to determine whether they are in it to win it.
As far as the hotel, it's not too child friendly, as you have be 21 or older to rent out one of their rooms. "We would actually rather you didn't bring your children," said Larry Mullin, the Borgata's president. "You've got a Passion Kit in the room; that's for adults to have fun with."
