LOS ANGELES - The Scream Team, an event squad recently formed by cock ring manufacturer The Screaming O just wrapped up its latest mainstream event, the 2007 Summer Strummer Festival held during Labor Day weekend.
The second annual daylong event was hosted by television personality Carson Daly and sponsored by Star 98.7 FM, Monster energy drinks, Gibson and Lucky Brand Jeans, among others. A portion of the proceeds went to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation and the Los Angeles Ballet.
Held at the Bergamot Arts Colony at 2525 Michigan Ave. in Santa Monica, the festival featured more than 40 musical acts on three stages, a skateboarding expo, autograph sessions and Gibson guitar giveaways. Screaming O partner Keith Caggiano said the Scream Team made quite a buzz in the festival VIP area, where featured guests and musicians loaded up on sex toys.
"We have such a great crossover to mainstream events," he said. "It seems everybody can use a little vibrating cock ring. This is the second event for the Scream Team in recent months. We're getting ready for some more exciting events in the future and can be seen at both ILS in October, as well as the Everything To Do With Sex Show in Canada with Nikki Benz."
The Scream Team's previous event was the annual Girls Night Out in July on the Queen Mary at the Long Beach Harbor.
