LOS ANGELES—The Screaming O is known for making disposable fun popular with the original Screaming O Vibrating Ring, but two-thirds of The Screaming O’s collection of vibrators and rings are reusable with replaceable batteries. Now the company has pre-packaged sets of AG-10 and AG-13 batteries so that men, women and couples will never need to make a midnight battery run.
The convenient sets of replaceable batteries make it easier than ever to avoid the buzz kill of a dead sex toy. And the packs should also stimulate add-on sales for retailers.
“The Screaming O’s goal since day one has been to make fun toys for men, women and couples of all sexual appetites, and we’ve found there are some hungry players out there,” The Screaming O partner Keith Caggiano said. “Offering a variety of reusable toys lets customers keep an eye on their carbon footprint without killing their buzz in the bedroom. Besides, why throw away a toy that does the trick every time? Just give it some more juice!”
The Screaming O’s reusable vibes are powered by either AG-13 or AG-10 batteries, both of which are available in specially marked replacement packs sized for point-of-purchase sales. AG-13 batteries are used in the Bullets, Buddies, OWow, FingO and OGlow Bullets, among others. AG-10 batteries power up the company’s lineup of smaller vibrating rings, including the BongO, Screaming Octopus and LingO vibes.
Both varieties are available packaged in 12-count tear-and-dispense boxes suitable for counter placement, and they are clearly marked for grab-and-go-buzz shopping. An image of each motor is pictured on the front of each box with a color code, so there’s no mistaking which battery pack you’re buying. The AG-10 is coded green; the AG-13 is marked blue.
The battery packs will be available for orders at the ANME Founders Show, July 11-13.
