PERRYSBURG, Ohio - Manufacturer Glow Industries and its Don Wands Glass Pleasure Wands line have been growing in popularity and visibility, and the company is gearing up to wow the public with customized pieces that are part of the increasingly popular LED glass line.
After recently promoted Mike Sessoms, adult product manager, and owner Jason Glowacki made a commitment to new product development and innovation in the company's adult lines, specifically Don Wands, they have a wealth of new products waiting to be released-the one with the most buzz being the custom LED pieces. Company reps are keeping quiet on the product, but are thrilled about it.
"It's going to be quite a new innovation to adult glass novelties. We're very excited," Chuck Ames, marketing manager, told AVN Novelty Business. "We have some prototypes and things are looking really good, but there is no set date for release. LED is great seller for us, and we're expanding on it because we see benefits for the retailers."
"We have a very large pipeline of new products in the works, at different stages, with releases planned over the next two to three years. We're building several different product lines, but Don Wands, especially, has become very popular," he added.
Existing product styles include Helix Rockets, Classic Wands, Fetish Wands, Plugs, Ultimate Vibrating Glass, LED Wands, Specialty Wands, Double Ended Wands, KamaDiva Urethane Wands and Plugs, and the massive Fat Jack.
Since Ames came on board nine months ago, Don Wands is available in new territories internationally: "We've added three countries besides Canada, and we have had requests in Italy," Ames told ANB. "The entire line was picked up by Amazon about two months ago, and we have signed on with [distributor] East Coast News, who carries almost everything." A wide variety of these items can also be purchased on the Oxygen Channel's adult home shopping program, Shop Erotica.
In short, the goal with Don Wands is to "to offer products that consumers want and love." Even when grilled about the customized LED items, Ames had only this to tell ANB: "Stay tuned for further updates."
