The Ex Slashes Into Adult Novelty Market

NEW YORK - With the escalating divorce rate, The Ex has been gaining popularity among divorcees since its release in late 2005.

CSB Commodities, a supplier of name-brand housewares, introduced the knife holder as an amusing way to store kitchen knives.

"With divorce rates as high as 60 percent, this nifty little item is generating a lot of interest among the divorced crowd," said Vice President Scott Schmeizer.

The set, with a lustrous finish available in six colors, is shaped like a human body and includes five knives with precision blades. The set is covered by a 25-year warranty.

"The Ex has combined high quality, functionality and satire into one product," said company President Robert Schmeizer. "Consumers are looking for more than the average cooking accessories these days."

CSB Commodities made its debut in the adult market by exhibiting at the Adult Entertainment Expo earlier this month.
