The CarnalNation ToolBox Helps Fight AIDS

SAN FRANCISCOCarnalNation.com, in partnership with some of the leading manufacturers and retailers in the pleasure product industry, has put together a custom ToolBox to help fight AIDS.

CarnalNation.com is a social website that provides current, consistent, and uncensored content and event listings related to all aspects of human sexuality, and also advocates for the sexual health and well being of all people, regardless of their gender, orientation or sexuality.

With a retail value of more than $1,000, the CarnalNation ToolBox comprises an extensive array of toys for boys, including two that have not yet been released in the United States. CarnalNation selected specific mainstream and high-tech pleasure toy companies that are breaking new ground in creating pleasure objects specifically for men. Traditionally, pleasure objects have been designed and made for women, leaving men to either adapt or find other forms of stimulation. The ToolBox represents a major breakthrough in understanding men’s needs and desires. Each of the companies represented in the ToolBox has created innovative products that take men’s bodies and imaginations into account.

“The CarnalNation ToolBox demonstrates a commitment to sexual pleasure but also to new possibilities for practicing safer sex. The ToolBox is also our challenge to the designers of pleasure objects around the world to embrace the needs and desires of men. It is also a challenge to men in general to engage their sexuality in a healthy, pleasurable way. To that end, we offer this ToolBox in the hope of making a positive impact on the community,” said John Pettitt, CEO and publisher of CarnalNation.

CarnalNation appreciates and gratefully acknowledges the participation of such forward-thinking companies as Aneros, Good Vibrations, Tantus, Tenga, Screaming O and LELO.  In addition to their innovative products, the ToolBox also contains a selection of award-winning gay erotica from Cleis Press as well as vintage porn from and a membership to the newly revamped Lavender Lounge. All of these tools for a man’s pleasure are contained in a stylish black-and-gold case, courtesy of Mickey’s Monkey, a leading San Francisco purveyor of vintage furnishings, which also provided many of the set decorations for the Academy Award-winning film Milk.

The CarnalNation ToolBox will be auctioned off on Friday, Oct. 23, at the Queens Are Wild! event in San Francisco. A benefit for the Stop AIDS Project, the Queens Are Wild! is a sexy, stud-filled evening of casino games, dancing, and a silent auction. The event will feature some of the biggest names in gay porn as your croupiers and a special performance by international recording star Kristine W. All of the companies represented in the CarnalNation ToolBox are proud to participate in such a worthwhile event.

“The Stop AIDS Project has been a driving force behind safer sex, HIV testing, and education for gay, bi and trans men. Plus, they have projects for many different communities of men, offer lots of outreach, sponsor great events, and more! Good Vibrations loves working with the Stop AIDS Project and we're always glad to be able to refer our customers to them when they have questions or concerns about HIV,” said Dr. Charlie Glickman, education program manager of Good Vibrations.

Established in 1985, the STOP AIDS Project is an internationally recognized multicultural, community-based organization dedicated both to preventing the transmission of HIV and to providing support to gay and bisexual men living with HIV/AIDS. The Stop AIDS Project is committed to safer sex, diversity, neighborhood outreach, and education.
