ATLANTA—Tenga is proud to announce that the Tenga 3D Series designed and produced by Tenga have been awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2012 by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany.
The Red Dot Awards, which saw awards going to among others, Apple, BMW, Dyson and Nikon in 2011, are the biggest of its kind, with a jury of international experts judging products from all over the world.
The Tenga 3D Series are the first ever male pleasure item to be awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award proving itself as a product of design excellence.
The Red Dot Awards: Product Design 2012 are an internationally recognized award presented to products released in the past two years that have been selected by an international panel of expert judges of product design, based on criteria such as innovation, functionality, ergonomics, ecology and durability.
This year’s awards saw 4,515 products from 1,800 companies from 58 countries around the world, with winners of the prestigious awards to be displayed beginning July 2 at the Red Dot Design Museum in Germany for a four-week exhibition “Design on stage - winners red dot award: product design 2012” and for a year in an online exhibition at Red-Dot.de.
