CLEARWATER, Fla.—The fourth annual StorErotica Awards has launched its website and currently is accepting nominations for its awards show slated for Aug. 23 at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
Held annually in conjunction with the Exotic Dancer Convention, the StorErotica Awards honor the best retailers and manufacturers that exemplify excellence in the erotic retail industry.
Guests to StorEroticaAwards.com can vote once in each category while registered users can vote up to five times. The list of final nominees will be released a week from today.
Awards categories include Intimate Apparel Company of the Year, Accessory Company of the Year, Novelty Company of the Year, Distributor of the Year, Independent Store of the Year, Store Chain of the Year, Smoke Company of the Year, and Hot Product of the Year.
New for 2010 is the StorErotica Special Focus Award, which will change each year and this year will highlight a male enhancement product.
"Each year, the StorErotica Awards strive to distinguish those businesses that exemplify excellence in erotic retail,” StorErotica Magazine Editor Kristofer Kay told AVN. “By reaching out to the industry with our nomination website, we’re ensuring that retailers and manufacturers alike are being recognized by their contemporaries for their individual achievements.”
