Stockroom Swings to a Sexier Halloween

LOS ANGELES, Ca. – Although October 31 is traditionally a night to cloak oneself in mystery, not all costume shoppers are counting on hiding their identities. According to erotic costume purveyor Stockroom, Halloween revelers plan to reveal more of themselves than usual.

Brand manager Anne-Marie Holman says that this fall, costumes are trending sexier, tighter, and shorter. The label tweaks its collection each year based on trends in entertainment, fashion, and society. "We've gotten even more provocative this season" in response to customer requests, says Holman, noting that Stockroom's disguises "reflect some of America's favorite topics."

World Series watchers can masquerade in the new Homerun Hitter ensemble, and the health-conscious will set hearts aflutter in a slim-fitting pleather nurse uniform. Stockroom's leather goods, all of which are crafted by hand in Los Angeles, offer distinctive getups—this year, a foreboding executioner's hood and a pony head bridle with a festive feather plume are new options, while the truly daring may select the menacing Punisher's Muzzle, held in place with buckled straps around the head.

"Halloween fashion trends are sexier this year," Holman says. "Our styles...enable wearers to live out their fantasies at least one night a year." It doesn't take much imagination to predict that—with such seductive costumes available year-round—Stockroom's customers may bring their dreams to life far more often.
