LAS VEGAS - Mel B knows what she wants, what she really, really wants, when it comes to lingerie, so the former Spice Girl has signed on as the spokesmodel for the newest Ultimo Lingerie line.
The new line, created by Ultimo Lingerie founder Michelle Mone, features a sexy burlesque theme, which ties in with the pop star's latest venture as a Peep Diva in Jerry Mitchell's burlesque Peep Show in Las Vegas. The show opens later this month.
"Burlesque is all about embracing and celebrating your body," the 32-year-old told Britain's The Sun newspaper. "The shoot was fantastic ... a girl's gotta have great lingerie, but it's also about the wink and the tease that goes with it."
Ultimo Lingerie was launched in 1996 by Mone, who was inspired to create her line after spending an uncomfortable evening in a cleavage-enhancing bra. The first design was released in 1999, and a stock estimated to last six weeks sold out in a mere 24 hours. Today, the company is considered one of the largest independent lingerie companies in the U.K.
