AUSTIN, Tex.—Novelty retailer Spencer’s Gifts has agreed to cease the sale of the Tenga Flip Hole after a settlement was reached in a patent infringement case filed by Interactive Life Forms, the makers of the Fleshlight.
Spencer’s Gifts, a mall-based retailer with more than 600 stores, has put a stop to the sale of the Tenga Flip Hole as part of its settlement agreement.
“We are happy to have come to terms with yet another defendant in this case,” Interactive Life Forms Executive Vice President Brian Shubin said. “Now that we have come to an agreement with Spencer’s we have successfully settled with virtually all of the 27 defendants named in this lawsuit, all of which have agreed to either stopping the importation/sales of the infringing product or to pay a royalty.”
On June 30, 2009, ILF filed suit against 25 prominent sex toy manufacturers and distributors alleging illegal use of its patents and trademarks.
Interactive Life Forms settled with California Exotic Novelties in September.
