ROSES, Spain - Pay attention, class: this week's lesson concerns vibrators.
That's what Spanish educator Orit Kruglanski will be saying in January when he leads a seven-day session on personal massagers. Kruglanski's pupils will be instructed in the use of a vibrator and, at course's end, will construct their own from recycled materials.
The twist: Kruglanski has the full backing of City Hall.
Roses' Counselor of Education, Carles Ferrer, says that while the topic seems funny, the seminar is a serious endeavor to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Ferrer also believes the course will encourage the city's youth to discuss sexual issues with their parents.
The class is offered at no charge to city residents. At press time, five citizens had enrolled.
