LONDON—Because having southpaw scissors wasn’t enough of a reason to celebrate, left-handed men can now rejoice over a new line of undies design especially for them.
Underwear company Hom launched the new style that features a horizontal slit at the front top of the skivvies, rather than a vertical slit on the right.
The Hom H1 Original Maxi Trunk is about $35, while the Hipster version is about $25. They can be bought online and in stores.
Rob Faucherand, a representative from UK department store Debenhams, told The Daily Mail: “Left-handed men have to reach much further into their pants, performing a Z-shaped maneuver through two 180-degree angles before achieving the result that right-handed men perform with ease.”
Faucherand added that the new style is a “step towards equality.”
