LOS ANGELES - Size of a Man has released its Phallumeasure, touting it as the "world's first patent-pending device to accurately measure your manhood."
"In reality, penis size is one of the most inaccurate statistics in the world today," inventor Jared Spencer said. "Over time, the continued use of the Phallumeasure will finally rectify these statistics and make it possible to have credible surveys. Whether you're a modest 4.5 inches with good control skills or you're packing a 9-inch tool, it's now time to pull it out, get it measured and tell the world, ‘I am a man, and here's what I've got.'"
The Phallumeasure is part of Size of a Man's The Final Say, a kit that includes two measuring tapes and a black velveteen storage pouch.
Spencer said he created the Phallumeasure to give men a reliable method of measuring penis size.
"The existence of the multi-billion-dollar penis-enlargement industry just goes to show how important the size of a man's penis is to men," he said. "These men, who are spending billions of dollars each year trying to increase the size of their penis, deserve something better than a ruler and a rough guess as to where they should start their measurement."
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued "patent pending" status for the Phallumeasure in the fall of 2006. Size of a Man is petitioning the American Board of Urology and the American Urological Association seeking to have Phallumeasure recognized as the most accurate way to measure penis length and named the "standard" measurement device.
Officially released on Aug. 13, The Final Say already has gotten mainstream-media attention. Spencer was interviewed on KROQ's "Kevin and Bean" morning show, and will be a guest on KLSX's "Media Whore" show on Sept. 9 and follow that spot with one on Sirius Satellite's Playboy Radio.
Size of a Man also is launching marketing campaigns in the mainstream and adult markets, targeting both straight and gay men. The company's website features a forum where visitors can submit creative ways to measure penis length; those whose submissions are published receive a $50 reward.
