SAN DIEGO - With their sleek and sexy artwork of Mark Wasyl's Drop Dead Sexy pin-up girls on full display, attitude-based clothing manufacturer Sik World Productions was the talk of the show during July's 2008 San Diego Comic Con at the San Diego Convention Center, said Sik World president, Jaysun Chall.
"This year's Comic Con was amazing. There was all kinds of madness going on and amongst all that chaos was me in the Sik World booth," said artist Mark Wasyl, whose style is characterized by curves, clean lines and bold colors. "This was a great opportunity for me to meet my fans as well as turn on a few new admirers. The reactions and response was awesome to say the least. Now it's time to prepare for next year!"
Chall said: "The reaction to Mark's artwork at this year's Comic Con was a bit overwhelming. It was nice to see him finally get the attention his artwork so richly deserves. We have always believed in his artwork and wanted to see it spread to as many people as possible. It was a great feeling to see so many people walk away wearing a shirt with his artwork on it."
