HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Lingerie company Shirley of Hollywood , in business since 1948, receives incredible response from its 2007 Valentine’s Collection at the Las Vegas International Lingerie—so much so, the company broke its own sales record.
“We had buyers in every one of our 28 seats all day Monday and Tuesday, with people waiting to get a spot.” says Eric Schlobohm, Shirley of Hollywood’s international sales and marketing director. “We finally came up for a little air the last day of the show and were able to get all our buyers in to the booth to book their last-minute holiday and Valentine’s [2007 catalog] fill-ins.
“Our bookings for the show blew past last April 2006, which itself was a sales record,” Schlobohm continued. “Stay tuned for more Hollywood glamour when Shirley unveils its 2007 line, and the 2007 Costume range will be hitting the ‘marquee’ in January.”
The new Valentine’s Collection features more than 50 fashion and beauty must-haves, including Shirley’s Glitter Stretch Mesh Bustiers with Sparkly Flocked Hearts and Stretch Satin Pleated Ribbon Trimmed Bustier—now with built-in push-up bras. The Valentine’s collection ships Nov. 15.
Shirley’s looks have been featured on hit TV shows, including Rock Star: Supernova and Entourage, and are being worn by the MTV 2006 Best Dance Video Music Award winners, The Pussycat Dolls. Shirley of Hollywood also works with major studios, including Disney and Universal.
