LONDON – With her new collection of bejeweled strap-ons, designer Shiri Zinn adds an avant-garde twist to the familiar toy. Crafted of ceramic and with leather accents, the gear is chic, elegant, and most of all, unexpected.
The strap-ons are available in two styles: The pink jeweled device has a floral motif that glimmers in 9-carat gold, and the leather sash, hand-embroidered with glass beads, features a satin back. The blue version is embellished with soft leather tassels and a dildo made of either blue silicone or blue ceramic, both accented with a smattering of golden flowers. Zinn doesn't skip a single luxurious step, using rich napa lambskin leather and adjustable straps to firmly wrap around any woman's hips.
The designer, a graduate of prestigious Central Saint Martins School of Fashion, says her stylings add a veneer of beauty to any boudoir. "My strap-ons are for the woman wanting more style and quality in the bedroom," she says. "Her partner will find these products more visually appealing, too."
