LAS VEGAS - Retailer Sherri Williams, who has filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Alabama's ban on the sale of adult novelties, will hold a press conference Monday during the International Lingerie Show to announce whether her case will get a U.S. Supreme Court hearing.
The press conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Starbucks Lounge at Convention Way in the Rio Suites Hotel.
"When the Supreme Court reviews cases, they announce what they will hear or not hear the following Monday," Williams told AVN Novelty Business magazine. "This is while I will be there in Vegas with all the vendors and everything. I'll also be there with the TV producer that bought the rights to my story and wants to film me at the trade show, so I decided to call a press conference there."
She said the Supreme Court's decision on whether it will hear Williams v. A.G. King will either end her 10-year battle or begin a new one.
An autograph session will be held in the Amazon Room outside the entrance to the fashion show from 5-6 p.m. to announce the TV show covering the positive aspects of the adult industry and Williams' fight for the right to sexual privacy.
