LOS ANGELES - SexToy.com founder Dave Levine is ready to return to the small screen: He's set to be featured in a second-season episode of "The Millionaire Matchmaker" on cable channel Bravo.
The episode is scheduled to air at 7 and 10 p.m. PST March 19.
Levine was one of the featured millionaires on season one, when he sought the help of Patty Stanger to find true love.
Stanger - founder of Millionaire's Club, a private dating service for upscale men - is a third-generation matchmaker and former top-level executive with Great Expectations, a leading U.S. dating service. On "The Millionaire Matchmaker," she and her staff works with clients to find them a perfect woman.
Last season, Levine stood out after the camera crew followed him and Stanger to his home, and he showed off his pride and joy: A stripper pole in his living room. Stanger demanded Levine remove the pole. His reply: "It's not happening."
The episode is received some of the highest ratings in the first season.
Levine has answered accusations that he only agreed to appear on "The Millionaire Matchmaker" to promote his business by insisting he is looking for love, but realizes the opportunity for free marketing is too good to pass up.
"If I try to talk about the latest sex toy or discuss our affiliate or wholesale/dropship programs, I am told those topics are not appropriate or are simply uninteresting," he said. "But if I talk about my Hollywood lifestyle, hot parties, or simply appear as ‘SexToy Dave' on TV, suddenly everyone is interested and people end up asking about adult products and my company."
