'SexIs' Magazine and The Bloggess Mark One-Year Anniversary

JAMESBURG, N.J.—It's been a year since the launch of educational e-zine SexIs, followed shortly by the arrival of its lead columnist, The Bloggess (aka Jennifer Lawson). As SexIs plans its anniversary issue, it's putting the talents, skills and humor of the Bloggess to full use.

The Bloggess is a laugh-out-loud funny writer/columnist and well-known blogger who’s been featured in Marie Claire, was linked to and quoted on MSNBC, is pals with Guy Kawasaki, and has been a panelist and keynote speaker at more blog and tech conferences than you can count (hello, BlogHer and BlogWorld Expo).

SexIs Magazine brought Lawson on as a columnist about a year ago, sending her to the other side of the world to explore Japanese sex culture and then unleashing her on both Nina Hartley and April Flores for unconventional interviews. Conversely, she took on the community interview at EdenFantasys.com and answered fan questions for a week.

The Bloggess is unpredictable, and will take subjects in a direction you don’t expect. She’s self-deprecating and silly and snarky and totally in it for the laughs.

To properly celebrate the anniversary of both the blog and the e-zine, SexIs is going all out. They’ve let The Bloggess take over the magazine for the week, as well as doing daily retrospectives on the SexIs Facebook fan page, and Twitter contests posing the question #TheBloggessIs? And Lawson’s 52nd post is not to be missed. (There are clown costumes and photos involved!)
