Revamped SikWorld.com Goes Live

SAN DIEGO - Clothing manufacturer Sik World has unveiled a redesigned version of its website, which was delayed by about a month.

"Unfortunately, because of numerous delays, the original release [announcement] was premature," said founder and President Jaysun Chall, who announced in August that the upgraded site would be launched in September.

The revamped SikWorld.com is more interactive, faster and easier to use, Chall told AVN Novelty Business. Among the site's new features is one that allows users to send Sik World images to cell phones or use them on social-networking sites such as MySpace.

"Our old site sucked," Chall said. "So we tore it down and built it back up. Now, it's quick and works the way you'd want. We've updated the photo gallery with tons of pictures of good-looking girls-some wearing very little clothing-and a bunch of pretty big celebrities who support Sik World."

Sik World, which is holding contests to promote its upgraded site, is offering giveaways such as Revolver magazine subscriptions and autographed CDs and band accessories from record labels such as Century Media, Nuclear Blast, Victory and Trustkill. Raffles are being held for a Coffin Case guitar case and an ESP guitar autographed by Static X. The grand prize is a four-day cruise to Cabo San Lucas with the Sik World crew.

The company also is offering free clothes, iPods and TVs for referrals.
