Pleasure Products Companies Seeing Success At AVN Show

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.—Companies from the pleasure products side of the adult industry spent the first day of The AVN Show displaying new lines and products on the show floor at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa.

Following the successful debut of the Sqweel, the only product on the market to simulate oral sex for women, Love Honey debuted the Sqweevee, Sqweelers and Sqweel Lube.

The Sqweevee is available in pink and black and is a pliable silicone casing that fits around the bottom half of the Sqweel and has a holster for a rocket-style vibrator.

“It’s the perfect size to hold the Lady Finger vibe, which is also from Love Honey,” company representative Colin Ray said.

The Sqweelers are new wheels with various textures to satisfy all women. The Tingle wheel is softer than the original and features a wavy ridge and long, soft nubs; the Wave boasts two wavy ridges with soft nubs; and the Pearl has a firmer texture than the original 10 tongues with shorter tongues and nubs.

“When you develop a unique product, you can either develop it as a one-off, or as a brand,” said Dean Elliott of Love Honey LLC. “The accoutrements make the Sqweel a brand.”

Love Honey LLC also released the Fang Banger cock ring, the Death By Orgasm bullet vibrators (each of which comes in its own coffin case) and the Pin Ups bullet vibes that are longer, run on an N battery and come in a collectible tin with a small container of clit balm.

Aneros also introduced a new item, the ViceT from its V-SeriesT line. The ViceT is the first of Aneros’ prostate massagers that relies on a powerful, stainless steel bullet for vibration.

“We’ve had people asking for years for product that vibrates, and now we are finally delivering,” said Malay Vannouvong, marketing associate for Aneros.

The new item still works the same way as the non-powered version (clenching muscles once it’s inserted places it in various positions for stimulation), but the bullet gives it a little extra “oomph,” she said.

“We don’t release anything until it’s perfect,” said John Richardson, director of client relations for Aneros. “We don’t just develop products that look like they will work, but that really do work.”

OhMiBod debuted the highly anticipated OhMiBod Better than Chocolate Music Edition. The wireless, waterproof vibe marks the first time two manufacturing companies have worked together to co-brand an item.

“The reception has been great so far,” said Suki Dunham, founder of OhMiBod. “I think the release of this item has really made people think about how they might be able to work with other companies in this industry.”
