Pipedream Products Employee Competing in TV Show 'Wipeout'

CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Markus Lindlahr, a member of the art team at adult novelty manufacturer Pipedream Products, is one of the competitors on tonight’s episode of ABC’s hit summer game show “Wipeout.”

The episode airs at 8 p.m. on ABC stations.

Tune in to see how he does in this sweat-filled competition based on the popular Japanese television show that also airs on SpikeTV. Lindlahr is part of the six-member art department at Pipedream Products Inc. and is the acetate specialist and designer for the PipedreamProducts.com website. His hobbies include fantasy role playing games and collecting action figures, both of which were utilized in his quest to become a real, live fantasy role playing action figure in “Wipeout.”

His episode of “Wipeout” was filmed in November in the Los Angeles area and pits athletic men and women against each other to see who can withstand the rigors of jumping off large balls, hanging onto rotating obstacles, and many other challenges that they are presented. According to ABC.com, “24 daring new contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes go head to head through rounds of grueling and physically demanding but wildly hilarious obstacles to win the title of ‘Wipeout Champion’ and the grand prize of $50,000. The contestants and the courses change every week, including new over-the-top obstacles such as ‘The Catapult,’ ‘Plank in the Face,’ ‘Hurtles,’ and the return of the fan favorite, ‘Big Balls.’ In the end, only one contestant will win, while everyone else will Wipeout!”

Will Markus win the evening’s prize and move on?  Stay tuned and find out.
