CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Nick Orlandino, chief operating officer and product designer for Pipedream Products, will appear on the "Kevin & Bean Show" at 8 a.m. Friday on KROQ, an alternative-rock radio station in Los Angeles.
Orlandino will discuss the recent wave of publicity surrounding Pipedream's line of celebrity love dolls.
"This thing is global," he told AVN Novelty Business. "It's reached tens of millions of people worldwide. We just got contacted by a store in Czechoslovakia. We thought there was a big wave of publicity in March, but then the New York Post ran an article on Sunday, and we've been getting about a million hits a day since."
Orlandino said most people seem to focus on the Sarah Jessica Porkher/Sex in Her Shitty love doll because of the Sex and the City movie set to hit theaters in June.
"Jay Leno made a comment in a recent monologue," he added. "We're going to be featured on VH1's ‘Best Week Ever' show Friday night. All the dolls are selling like crazy, so everyone should get them while we have them in stock. They're going to be gone in a few weeks."
