LOS ANGELES - Peekay Inc. has opened two A Touch of Romance locations in the Los Angeles area.
On Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, the company will hold a grand opening for the new Sherman Oaks and Tarzana stores, featuring product giveaways and demonstrations by local vendors. Each all-day event is part of an "unforgettable" shopping experience at a "positive shopping venue where all people have access to products designed to enhance the romance and sensuality in their lives," Peekay said in a news release.
"We continue to show that we are the No. 1 retail choice for consumers," Peekay founder Phyllis Heppenstall said.
Heppenstall and her daughter, Kris Butt, started Peekay in Washington in 1980 and opened the company's first retail store in 1981. The company now has 14 stores in California-operating as A Touch of Romance and Condom Revolution-in addition to 21 stores in Washington.
The new Los Angeles-area stores' locations and hours are as follows:
