Peekay Opens Kirkland Store in Style

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Peekay Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its newest Lovers store in the Rose Hill area of Washington state to "lots of wows, oohs and aahs," according to District Manager Julie Chang.

"First-time customers were very impressed with the size of our new location and the décor," she told AVN Novelty Business. "The vendors we had in the store on Friday also seemed very impressed. We also noticed repeat customers on Saturday from Friday, surely coming back to win more prizes!"

Chang said goodie bags of samples were given to the first 75 people who entered the store Friday and Saturday. Each customer also received a coupon and was offered a chance to spin a prize wheel for items such as DVDs, T-shirts and lingerie.

"Each customer left with a raffle ticket where they could also come back between 5 and 6 p.m. and get a chance to win even more high-value prizes," Chang added. "We had a local radio station-KISS 106.1-appear at the opening on Saturday from 2-4 [p.m.] to play music and pass out even more promotional items."

The new store is located off the 85th Street exit of Interstate 5 is highly visible from the highway. Peekay consolidated two smaller locations into one larger store and customers have been impressed.
