Peekay Opens 2nd Lovers Store in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Peekay Inc. has announced the opening of a new Lovers store in Bellingham Oct. 17. The store is the Auburn-based retailer's second location in the city.

The store's grand opening weekend will feature educational seminars, free product samples, prize giveaways, huge door buster specials, refreshments, and more. Washington firefighters will be signing their 2009 calendar on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. with proceeds benefiting the WSCFF Burn Foundation. There will be several raffles of up to $200 in value on Friday and Saturday from 7 - 9 p.m.

Peekay Inc. was started in Washington in 1980 by Phyllis Heppenstall and her daughter, Kris Butt. Since opening their first retail store in 1981, the company has expanded the chain to include 13 stores in California under the names A Touch of Romance and Condom Revolution, and 20 stores in Washington.

"We are committed to our employees, and our customer base to continue the amazing growth that we see possible in this industry," said Heppenstall.

The new Lovers store is located at 4179 Meridian St. in Bellingham.
