VISTA, Calif. — Paradise Marketing has announced the release of Manglide, Astroglide’s new long-lasting, water-based lubricant. Manglide is the start of a new line of products made specifically for gay men, according to vice president of sales and marketing Ken Eckart.
“Astroglide has always respected and been a friend to the gay community,” he said. “For this very important niche market, we are pleased to announce Manglide is now available. Additional items will be added to the line in the future.”
The inside of the bottle features an image of a man’s torso; the image magnifies when viewed through the lubricant, which was unveiled at the AVN Novelty Expo.
“The response was great,” Eckart said. “Buyers especially liked the ‘For the Man Inside You’ posters and requested some for their stores as soon as they are ready. Manglide is a combination of masculinity and sex. The product is just getting into the pipeline, but I have noticed that both Williams Trading and ADI have already reordered the item, which is a good sign for something that is so new.”
